The Smashing Sportsman

For several episodes super hero’s were hinted at but not explained. Planet money are trying to buy a superhero for a mascot. So the guys think ‘we’re already under Warner bros umbrella, maybe F**kface could get their hands on one that no one cares about.’ Andrew pitches The Smashing Sportsman: Marty Baxter was a baseball player who got arthritis. He could no longer swing a bat. He was absorbed in his problems watching the 1967 world series that he had been apart of. As he’s watching the game an alien sphere falls from the sky and hits him. He is suddenly super strong and mad at sports because he couldn’t play anymore. Superpowered he begins smashing stadiums, City by city. The Justice League defeat him with dad jokes. As soon as he laughs the sphere floats out of him and they zap it with a taser.
